Code A has encouraged inclusive and innovative approaches to the climate crisis and environmental challenges. Our framework has facilitated the transition from knowledge and innovation to action and sustainability. Code A enhances both the capacity to cope with changes in systems thinking, and the capacity to accommodate the cultural values of the communities we work with. We have led prize-winning training and research projects on society response, climate transition, and the geography of knowledge. Code A can help define with precision the priorities of the UN Agenda 2030 that fall within our competence, from inequality and exclusion to digital transformations and societal disruption. Our Decision Theater concept addresses directly the challenges met by scientists in developing new capacities for integrated critical analysis and foresight. Code A has also developed for Global South partners a curriculum in sustainability science.
