Zurich Versicherung relies on esg2go, co-developed by CCRS, to ensure the sustainability performance of SMEs in its supply chain.
Our rating and reporting tool enables the globally operating insurance provider to measure and optimize upstream and downstream emissions in its value chain.
According to Daniel Lehmann, Head of Supplier Relations at Zurich:
"With esg2go, I can gain insights into the sustainability of my supplier pool. This allows me to make a more active contribution to the overall sustainability of Zurich."
With this approach, Zurich is proactively addressing reporting obligations for larger companies, which indirectly affect SMEs in the supply chain. We anticipate that smaller suppliers will increasingly be required to provide evidence of their sustainability performance. esg2go facilitates this with manageable effort and straightforward metrics collection.
